26 November 2019, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM This is the first of what will be monthly Geocachers of Long Island (“GoLI”) gatherings!
Every geocacher is welcome to attend and meet old friends, make new ones and talk geocaching – like the current GoLI challenge GoLI Geo-Bowling! New to the game? Stuck on how to solve a mystery cache? Need a nudge on finding a difficult one? Come and pick the brains of other players!
We have no specific agenda for this gathering other than having a good time, but the GoLI monthly gatherings are a great chance to share your thoughts about what could make geocaching on Long Island even better. GoLI is an organization created by and for Long Island geocachers and your involvement is essential to help shape the future of Long Island geocaching and GoLI!
EVENT DETAILS: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, November 26th at the Long Island Welcome Center (5100 Long Island Expressway (between exit 51 and 52 eastbound), Dix Hills, NY 11746). The food market at the welcome center will be open during the event, but there is no obligation to purchase anything.
GoLI was created to: a) support, promote and enhance geocaching on Long Island by encouraging an active, helpful and fun geocaching community; b) create fun, educational and social geocaching events; and c) be an advocate for geocaching with property managers, government agencies and the general public. GoLI is a member supported organization with membership options are available in various levels, including free. GoLI membership not required to attend this event. Visit the GoLIwebsite at Geocachersofli.org to learn more about GoLI, its objectives and membership levels.
